I have worked in human resources for over 20 years and I am passionate about making sincere and lasting connections. I have worked in large, public and private institutions as well as Tribal governments and enterprises. I am a born collaborator and have excelled in my career by creating and maintaining working relationships within and outside of my organizations to leverage resources and keep businesses moving forward. I am excited to bring this same success to others!

I earned my doctoral degree in Educational Leadership with Distinction from California State University, Stanislaus, master’s degree in Management from Notre Dame de Namur University, and bachelor’s degree in Music from the University of Virginia. I am a certified Senior Professional in Human Resources (SPHR), a member of the Society for Human Resources Management (SHRM), the Honor Society of Phi Kappa Phi, and the Sigma Beta Delta International Honor Society for Business, Management, and Administration. In addition to my education, I have been promoted throughout my career to management- and executive-level positions. With a solid foundation and understanding of business and people, I am able to plan and facilitate communication and change.

​As an HR professional, I have always worked to counter the narrative of HR being a punitive department. In some spaces, HR may be a four-letter word, but I see it as way for businesses to cultivate their most important resources. I believe that working with people can be a challenging and rewarding experience when done correctly. With a practical, no-nonsense approach, I have been able to lead others which resulted in success throughout my career.
